Creating Teacher Websites (Thing 13)

Filed under: Uncategorized — gjohnsonbees at 5:28 pm on Monday, July 19, 2010

Years ago I had a website for my environmental program but I didn’t keep it up.  I used a software package called PageMill.  But this idea of creating a teacher website takes all this to a new level and really communicates with students, parents and other teachers.  I am a MAC person but have not looked at iWeb.  I should be ashamed. :-(

The information and directions given By the presenter Cyndi Danner Kuhn was really helpful.  If you put her suggestions to work in your website the students will have no excuse for not knowing what is required in your class and will get to use technology to stay informed and up-to-date.  Her list of what to include in your webpage was extensive and I plan to try making a new website for myself.
